Description
Here is my diorama entitled "British 6th Airborne in Normandy".
The diorama is set during the attack on the village Breville in
Normandy, France on the 12th of June 1944, we see members of the
12th battalion the Parachute Regiment rounding up wounded German
prisoners after the main artillery bombardment (which lasted almost
16 hours) and initial infantry attack.
The ruined buildings were entirely scratch built, the 251 is the old
Tamiya offering, the Schwimmwagen is from Italeri. The figures are a
mix of Tamiya, Verlinden, Dragon and a couple of conversions from
the scrap box.
