Description
Here is my Tamiya 1/35 scale KV-2 Russian Heavy Tank. This kit was released in 2022, following Tamiya's all-new 2000 KV-1.

The model accurately portrays the subtle - and not-so-subtle - differences between the KV-1 and the KV-2. These include different wheels, stowage and, of course, the gigantic turret.

I built the model straight from the box, including the kit decals and the two crew figures.

Tamiya's new 1/35 KV-2 was a pleasure to build and fun to paint and weather.

I'm writing this one up for a big article in Issue 210 of Model Military International magazine.
